To strengthen the management of controlled drugs for medical use and to prevent them from being improperly used or abused; |

To reinforce the reporting, surveillance, prevention and education on drug abuse, to monitor drug abuse trends, and to educate the public on drug abuse; |

To establish an effective urine testing laboratory certification system for drug abuse, and to establish an abused drug information system; |
|
To further implement good manufacturing practices, to complete quality assurance practices of the GMP plant, and maintain product quality, to keep enough supply while maintaining production-supply balance, and to stock legistic inventory for disasters casualty needs; |
|
To integrate in information system with the national pharmaceutical flow system. The controlled drug management information system will allow automatic summaries, correlations and cross references. |
