| The correct use of pharmaceuticals |
| Pharmaceuticals’ Functions |
The purpose of medication is to have a physical and/or psychological effect after use, resulting in changes to the chemical substances relating to the functions of the body. |
The purpose of using pharmaceuticals is to diagnose, cure, and alleviate sickness and disease in humans and animals. |
"Pharmaceuticals" and "Poisons Drugs"are two sides of the same coin. If used legitimately, they can cure sickness and disease. On the other hand, if used inappropriately, mistakenly or if abused, they will, without exception, cause harm to the body. |
| Correct Attitudes Towards and Methods for the Use of Pharmaceuticals |
Pharmaceuticals should be used according to the doctor’s prescription(s), and/or under the guidance of the pharmacist. Numbers of times that medication should be taken, time between doses, and measurements of medication should all, without exception, be accurate. |
Do not interrupt a course of medication yourself because symptoms have lessened, or change the period of time medication is taken or change the amount of medication taken yourself because of changes in symptoms. |
Pharmaceuticals should be stored in places out of children’s reach. |
If, while taking medication, any adverse reactions, side effects, accidental overdose or accidental swallowing of medication, or any other situations should occur, then medical personnel should immediately be consulted for advice. |
Under no circumstances whatsoever should any medication which has been provided for one’s own use be given to anyone else. |
Pharmaceuticals should be kept away from direct sunlight, high temperatures, or damp environments. |
Under no circumstances whatsoever should users take medication which has expired or medication which has gone bad. |
