Responsibilities

Our Director General heads the Bureau by leading and supervising all staff under the Director General;a deputy Director General assists the Director General by handling the bureau affairs. And the room where the Chief Secretary works is called: the Chief Secretary’s Office.

There are four Divisions under the Director General: the Licensing and Regulation Division, the Audit and Inspection Division, the Epidemiology and Education Division, the Testing and Certification Division, the Planning Center,
the Secretariat, the Personnel office, tne Civil Service Ethics office, and the Accounting office as well as the Pharmaceutical Plant. Branch bureaus will be established when necessary and each unit can divide its businesses into different divisions depending on its need. The superintends of each grade head and supervise their staff according to the managing businesses or projects assigned abiding by the law;other staff is responsible for all businesses assigned by their superintends.
